You ask, Muzeiko answers!

  • Can children visit Muzeiko unaccompanied?

    Yes, they can, if they are above 12. Please note that we will require a valid ID. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of their visit.

  • What age group is Muzeiko suitable for?

    Fun & learn experience is guaranteed for everyone, even for the grown-ups.

    Muzeiko is most suitable for kids between 5 and 12, but we also have toddlers corner. and special Toddler takeover days.

  • When are my tickets valid for? Can I exit and then re-enter?

    Your tickets are valid for the time slot and the date marked on your receipt. You can exit and re-enter as many times as you like during the course of the slot. Just make sure to keep and show your wrist band to our employees.

  • How much time do I need to allow for my visit?

    We recommend that you plan to spend between 2 and 4 hours as there’s so much to see and do.

  • Can I purchase tickets online?

    Yes, you can. We recommend that you purchase your tickets online to avoid the queues at the admissions desks.

  • Do I need to book in advance or I can simply turn up?

    Yes, you can simply turn up or purchase your tickets online.

  • Can I pay by card?

    Yes, we welcome credit and debit cards (VISA and MASTER CARD) at the admissions desk and in the shop.

  • Are there any additional charges for the workshops or the Planetarium shows?

    Yes, you’ll have to buy an additional ticket for the Planetarium and some workshops. On weekends we have many free of charge workshops as well.

  • Am I allowed to take photos?

    Yes, you are welcome to take photos but we ask that you don’t capture anyone else in the shot.

  • Do you have lockers that I can use?

    Yes, we do. They are located next to the entrance.

  • Can I bring my own food and/or drinks?

    We do not allow eating or drinking amongst the exhibitions, with the exception of water and baby food.

  • Can I visit the shop and/or the cafeteria without purchasing tickets?

    Absolutely, you are welcome as many times as you want.

  • Do you have baby feeding/baby changing facility?

    Yes, it is located next to the toddlers’ area.

  • What should I do if I’ve lost something?

    Please give us a call (02/ 902 00 00) or emeail us at lost@muzeiko.bg as soon as you find out that you have lost/forgot something at our premises. We will keep all lost items for three weeks.

  • Is smoking on the premises of Muzeiko allowed?

    We as parents would like to be role models for our children. That’s why smoking inside and outside of Muzeiko (including the yard, parking lot and the cafeteria terrace) is not allowed.

  • Why aren’t there more spaces in the parking lot of Muzeiko?

    Muzeiko was born in harmony with nature. Being Eco friendly he reminds you that you could easily reach him by public transport.

  • Isn’t Muzeiko closing hour too early?

    We would not like Muzeiko to interfere in your children’s daily routine.

  • How can I subscribe for Muzeiko's newsletter?

  • Can I use the stroller inside the building?

    Muzeiko’s team will continue letting strollers among the exhibitions even after the beginning of the school year. We respect your opinion and would not like to complicate our youngest visitors’ experience.

    For a pleasant and safe visit please do not leave your strollers unattended; do not park them on the walkway, in front of the Early Childhood Area, nor the elevators. You can use the Stroller Parking instead.

    Please bear in mind that in case there are large groups of children visiting we might temporarily restrict stroller access, and invite you to use the Stroller Parking or your sling. In case you do not have your sling or baby carrier with you, you can borrow on from Muzeiko. You will be assisted at the cash register.

  • Can I buy voucher tickets for a visit at Muzeiko?

    You can buy voucher tickets at Muzeiko’s cash register. The adult visitor voucher ticket costs 15 leva, and the child visitor voucher ticket is 10 leva. Vouchers can be used up to six months after purchase.

     

  • Dear visitors, We would like to encourage you to touch and play with the exhibits, they are designed for hands- on experiences and experiments. We kindly ask you to observe the following rules, which we also stand by:

     

    Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of their visit
    Parents and/or teachers are responsible for the health and safety of their children
    We behave properly and keep our voices down
    We respect the personal space of all visitors
    We play and learn with attention and care for the expositions
    We patiently wait for our turn
    We walk slowly
    Weapons and sharp objects are not allowed on the premises
    Alcohol and drug abuse will not be tolerated and are unacceptable on the premises
    Smoking on the entire territory of Muzeiko is absolutely forbidden
    Your personal belongings are your responsibility, however if you have lost anything, please let our employees know
    We do not allow eating or drinking amongst the exhibitions, with the exception of water


    We put efforts to keep Muzeiko clean and neat. We thank you in advance for your assistance!

    Muzeiko’s team reserves the right to ask any individuals who do not observe the rules and disturb other visitors to leave the premises.
